Ich habe den Bildband vor Jahren mal bei einer damaligen Freundin gesehen und war sehr beeindruckt von der Weise, wie fotografiert wurde.Der Bildband ist so schon vom Format wirklich groß und dazu noch ziemlich schwer, er hat etwas weniger als 400 Seiten.Die Farbgebung der Fotografie ist sehr viel in Pinktönen gehalten, Hair&Make-Up und auch Bekleidung ist sehr viel an dem damaligen alternativen, leicht Emo angehauchten Stil orientiert, also viel mit Sternchen. Totenköpfen, buntem Haar, sehr bunt betonten Augen, was heute zwar etwas aus der Zeit fällt, aber wem das immer noch gefällt, hat damit bestimmt Spaß.Damit komm ich auch zu meinem einzigen wirklichen Kritikpunkt: Das Make-Up. Ich persönlich mag die abgebildeten Frauen und das Konzept der Art, wie fotografiert wurde, aber ich persönlich stehe einfach nicht so umbedingt auf starkes, buntes (Augen-)Make-Up. Da hätte ich mir gern noch etwas mehr Diversität gewünscht, mehr "ungeschminkte" Schönheiten, vllt auch manchmal ein wenig maskuliner. Das könnte vllt auch daran liegen, dass ich eine Frau bin und verschiedenen Konzepten von Weiblichkeit evtl aufgeschlossener bin, als heterosexuelle Männer.Meines Erachtens eignet dieser Bildband sich (dennoch) auch für Frauen, die Frauen lieben.Die Produktionweise und Fototechnik gefällt mir hingegen wiederum sehr und die Körper sind selbstbewusst und schön in Szene gesetzt.

wer ein Freund von tättowierten Frauen ist, der sollte sich diesen Hochglanz-Schinken holen.Schinken deshalb, weil das Buch doch ein beachtliches Format sowie Gewicht aufweist.Ich war voll und ganz Begeistert :)deutsches Gegenstück : Tattoo Erotica ( vierteljährlich )

Wahnsinn, das neue SG Buch übertrifft, den ersten Band (ca. 2005 erschienen) um Längen oder eher um Breiten, denn dieser Band ist so unglaublich fett und schwer. Nichts fürs Handgepäck.Ein wirklich toller Bildband mit ausgesuchten Fotos aus den Sets der Webseite. Die Mädels sind nach Herkunft zusammengefasst (California, Eastcoast, Canada, South America, UK, Europe etc..) und wirklich mit Liebe zusammengestellt.Einziger Wehrmutstropfen für die deutschen Fans, es ist nur ein deutsches Mädel dabei, sowie 2 Schweizerinnen. Da einige Damen gleich mehrfach in dem Buch vertreten sind, fehlen mir irgendwie ein paar wirklich tolle Damen die ich persönlich gerne noch gesehen hätte.Der Preis (zur Zeit knapp 30 Euro) ist in Anbetracht des Riesenbuches wirklich angemessen.Ein Prachtexemplar, dass in keiner Aktfotografiesammlung fehlen sollte.Für Fans von Tattoos und Piercings!

WoW!Zuerst hab ich dedacht,30 Euro stolzer preis,jetzt aber wo ich dieses mörderteil bekommen habe,kann ich nur sagen,es ist das doppelte wert.Allein schon die tolle aufmachung,Groß,schwarz,gut!!!!!Die Bilder sind erste sahne,die qualität des Buches sehr edel!Wer sich für gehobene Akt Fotograhie begeistern kann,von Frauen die das gewisse etwas(tattoos)haben ein absolutes muss.Wunderschöne Frauen,jede für sich hat das gewisse etwas,toll in Scenegesetzt,einfach hammer.Nichts für spanner!!!!!!

Ich für meinen Teil bin leider sehr enttäuscht. Von den Fantasie angregenden Bildern, wie man(n) sie aus dem Netz kennt ist hier leider nicht mehr viel übrig geblieben. Jedes der teilweise sehr hübschen Mädels ist völlig nackt abgebildet, nichts verdeckt oder versteckt um dem Betrachter Zeit und Anregung(en) zu geben.Es wird schnell sehr langweilig und das Buch ist schnell durchgeblättert wie eines der vielen "Heftchen".... Schade. Dann schaue ich mir doch lieber die Bilder bei Facebook und Co. an :(

Über die Suicide - Girls stolperte ich eines Tages auf den weiten nächtlichen Reisen durchs Web, nicht, dass ich nach ihnen gesucht hätte, aber auch nicht so, dass mir nicht ein wenig Appetenz nach gerade dieser Art von Schönheit eigen gewesen wäre. Immerhin ... soll doch ähnlicher Schmuck den eigenen Körper zieren.Und nun: Ein ganzer Band von ihnen, mörderisch schön, sodaß man(n)(denn nur für jene kann ich sprechen) nach Großvater's Zyankali-Kapseln oder dessen verstecktem Weltkriegs - Revolver (hat zumindest Großmutter immer behauptet) suchen möchte, um zusammen mit einer der Schönen und so wunderbar Verziehrten dieses Buches zusammen einen lauten, schmutzigen und exxxxessiven Suizid zu begehen, um im Tod ein Paar abzugeben, worüber die Zeitungen schreiben und von welchem der Pfarrer sich weigert, in christlicher Erde begraben zu werden. Oder würde es auch erst einmal für ein paar "kleine Tode" reichen, so für den Anfang? Ein Buch, welches Lust (nicht Geilheit !!!) macht, um in der Realität (wenn es diese denn gibt) nach den "echten" Vertreterinnen jener Spezies Ausschau zu halten, die es nicht beim Arschgeweih haben bewenden lassen.

All of the mothers banned together and marched in a circle on Thursdays in the Plaza, hence the name Cirlce of Love. The main focus of the mothers was trying to get information. Any information at all would be taken with great depth and give them hope to carry on.This book really speaks about the love that these women had for their children and the love they still carry on. Even when they only got silence when questioning authorities they still marched on. They even marched on after they knew that all the disappeared were dead.These women and mothers not only had to struggle dealing with their childen's disappearance, but they were also forced to live in fear. Parent's had to fear their children's activities, whether they be students going to a school meetings, teachers, or working towards a career, everything was a motive for repression. Because of the disappearances so many loved ones were forced to change their way of life. They changed their habits and social and family customs. Everyone was forced into live in fear.This is a very emotional book. But I think that it is something that everyone should read and be aware of. The testimonies of these women are the truth, and there is no hiding the truth.

This book takes you through the lives of the mothers of the diappeared in Argentina. You hear the mothers speak of the heartbreak that they face everyday. The book shares the testimonies of many of the Mothers of the Plazo de Mayo. You have no choice but to become deeply involved in the lives of the people in this book. You are told about how mothers have been forced to watch as their children as pulled out of their home, and then the mothers never see them again. You have to put yourself in this position. Could you, would you allow someone to do this to you and get away with it? These mothers won't and they are not afraid to show it. They make their presence very much known, and they are not going to give up until they get the answers that they deserve. This book tells you of the everyday lives of these women. They are willing to give everything they have to find out what has become of their lost family members.

Their testimonies were beautiful dedications to thier children who dissappeared, and thier voices important to understanding the horrendous experiance they have had, and continue to endure. Perhaps the boggest problem I had with this book was the feeling of redundancy of the testimonies. As I was reading I desperatly hoped that the testimonies would explore different instances, and feelings. I think it was important for these mothers to have the opportunity to voice their feelings and their heartache, however.If you have never heard about "disappearances" in Argentina, or you simply want to find out more, this is a very useful text.

In Circle of love over death, mothers whos children were taken away during the turbulent 70s in Argentina, gave their testomonies of the abduction and what came after. Before I read this book I had no knowledge of this sort of thing ever happening in Argentina. The haunting tales of the mothers showed the pain of losing a child, or children for as little reason as they were helping the poor. This book also showed how these women were able to bond together after the loss of their children to fight for the knowledge of what happened to the children. This book covers the events in Argentina since the 1970s, and describes the pain and horror of the mothers as the search for information about the whereabouts of their children, even twenty years after their abduction. I think this book was very informative and made us aware of situation that was not well publicized in the united states at all.

I felt that Circle of Love was a really great way to learn about the emotional aspect behind the horrible kidnapping that took place in Argentina during the "dirty war". It did not cover much of the politics of the situation because the book encompassed the testimonies of mothers and grandmothers of the missing. Although the stories were at times redundant and very heart-wrenching, I was able to read the book feeling as though I had learned a great deal. I think anyone can benefit from reading the unbounded love that these women felt for their children and the pain and ridicule that they endured in order to find answers as to where their loved ones had been taken. These stories are REAL women who are still fighting this in hopes that justice might be found.

Circle of Love Over Death is an outstanding and emotional book. It engulfs the reader through the real-life stories of the Mother's of Plaza de Mayo. Matilde Mellibovsky's choice to structure this book as a testimonial, allowed the readers to feel the pain of the mothers of the "disappeared." Circle of Love Over Death explained the process of the disappearances and the pain of not knowing whether their realtives were alive or dead. It explained the formation of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, the obstacles they had to face, and the political advances that came from the group's activities. This is an excellent book that explains a tragedy in history through personal experiences.
